Celebrating the Journey of Laws Bottled in Bond Releases

Laws Whiskey House has long been dedicated to crafting Bonded whiskey, which has become an integral part of our story. Our journey began with the release of our 4-year Bonded Four Grain Bourbon, marking a historic milestone as the first bonded bourbon in Colorado. Subsequently, in March 2017, we introduced our four-year-old Bonded Rye, followed by the unveiling of our Bonded Wheat.

In the realm of whiskey craftsmanship, age often speaks volumes. It’s a testament to patience, dedication, and the intricate dance between time and flavor. We reflect on the evolution of our craft and celebrate the milestone of time with our 2024 Bottled in Bond Releases.

In our 2024 Bottled in Bond Release, all three whiskeys are aged 7 years. Each year brings unique grain flavors, making every release special. This year, all three are exceptional at 7 years old.

Al Laws

EMBRACING TRADITION

Bottled in Bond whiskey holds a special place in the heart of Laws Whiskey House, not just for its historical significance but also for its embodiment of our core values. The “No Shortcuts” approach that defines our whiskey aligns perfectly with the rigorous standards set forth by the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897. This legislation ensures that the whiskey is produced according to strict regulations, including being distilled at a single distillery, within a single distilling season, and aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse. This commitment to transparency and quality resonates deeply with our philosophy of honoring tradition while embracing innovation. Moreover, the terroir-driven aspect of our whiskey production, further reinforces the connection between our Bottled in Bond releases and our dedication to showcasing the unique flavors of Colorado’s land and climate. In essence, Bottled in Bond whiskey serves as a tangible representation of Laws Whiskey House’s unwavering commitment to excellence, authenticity, and the art of whiskey making with “No Shortcuts”.

TERROIR DRIVEN WHISKEY AND

LOCAL COLORADO GRAINS

At Laws Whiskey House, we take immense pride in our partnerships with local farms that supply us with the highest quality grains. Whiskey Sisters Supply in Burlington, Colorado, is renowned for their high-quality corn, while the Cody Family of Colorado Malting Company grows and malts all our heirloom wheat, rye, and barley. These partnerships are not just about sourcing ingredients; they are about fostering a connection to the land and the community. Each grain harvested from these local farms carries with it the essence of Colorado’s terroir, reflecting the soil, climate, and expertise of our dedicated farmers. Embracing the concept of a single distilling season, mandated by Bottled in Bond regulations, for us also signifies a single harvest season, showcasing the unique flavors and characteristics of each year’s harvest. This dedication to terroir-driven whiskey exploration ensures that every bonded release from Laws Whiskey House possesses its own distinct personality, making each sip a journey through Colorado’s rich agricultural heritage.

LUCKY TRIO OF 7-YEAR RELEASES IN THE 2024 BOTTLED IN BOND LINEUP
