The Evolution of Laws Bourbon Finished in a Cognac Foeder

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tasting of one of Laws Whiskey House’s most distinctive projects: Four Grain Bourbon Finished in a Cognac Foeder.

Featuring Laws founder Al Laws and Head Distiller Sam Poirier, this Whiskey Wednesday will explore how our Four Grain Bourbon evolves through multiple stages of Cognac finishing before entering our solera-style Cognac foeder.

Guests will taste the whiskey through each step of the process:

• First-fill Cognac barrel
• Second-fill Cognac barrel
• Third-fill Cognac barrel
• Cognac foeder sample pulled at cask strength

The evening will conclude with a bonus pour of this year’s Cognac Foeder release and an early opportunity for attendees to purchase bottles.

Come taste the evolution of the whiskey, from the first barrel to the final blend.
