Step into the season at our Annual Holiday Open House, featuring the debut of our Winter Solstice Barrel Series — a special single barrel release born from reflection, ritual, and the turning of the year.

Join us at the Laws Whiskey Sanctuary and throughout the distillery as we celebrate the close of one chapter and welcome the next. The day will be filled with good whiskey, music, tarot readings, and a touch of solstice magic.

Set your intentions for the year ahead at our Barrel Stave Wish Tree, sip something warm and spirited from the Hot Toddy Bar, and collector Laws Winter Solstice mug while supplies last.

We’ll have a DJ spinning in the cocktail lounge, tarot readers offering complimentary readings from noon to four, and plenty of whiskey to fill your glass.

Reflect, release, and raise a toast with us to the light’s return. The nights may be long, but the whiskey is strong.

ABOUT THE RELEASE

In the winter of 2022, our Head Blender gathered the team to honor the Winter Solstice—the shortest, darkest day of the year and a time for reflection and renewal. That evening, a new tradition began. A used brandy barrel was re-toasted and filled with a blend of 75% Four Grain Bourbon and 25% San Luis Valley Rye, symbolizing the turning of the season. Three years later, that tradition continues, and this release commemorates the moment that started it all.

We’ll also be featuring our ORIGINS Series Mosaic release, available for purchase throughout the day.
